What is a Lightning Talk? There are many types and formats for Lightning Talks, some even have their own names (such as Pecha Kucha and Ignite). What they all have in common is they are short-format presentations on a topic that engages listeners. The simple format we will use is: Lightning Talk presenters are limited to just 5 minutes. Presentation slides are not mandatory. What can you expect at this HDI Local Chapter event? You will hear a series of quick, clear and concise presentations (Lightning Talks) on the theme of Knowledge Management. With this short-format presentation, we created a data blitz by chaining several lightning talks in a row. The data blitz will be followed by time for an open discussion on the topics. In keeping with the HDI local chapter ethos, talks are vendor-neutral, not product promotion.
